Ingredients
  • 1 Tbsp. (15mL) Mrs. Dash® Original Blend
  • 2 Tbsp. (30mL) finely chopped pine nuts
  • 1 lb (454g) beef tenderloin roast, well trimmed
  • 1 Tbsp. (15mL) grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
  • 1. In a small bowl, combine pine nuts and Mrs. Dash® Original Blend. Press evenly over surface of roast.
  • 2. To roast, place meat on rack in an open roasting pan. Insert meat thermometer in thickest part. Do not add water, do not cover.Roast at 425°F (218°C) for 40 to 50 minutes or until cooked through.
  • 3. Remove from oven; sprinkle with cheese if desired. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before carving.
  • 4. For a more intense "cured" flavor, place seasoned roast in plastic bag and refrigerate overnight.
