2 Tbsp. (30mL) Mrs. Dash® Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend

1/2 cup (120mL) red wine vinegar

1 Tbsp. (15mL) olive oil

12 Oz. (336g) flank steak
-
4 slices Italian bread
-
1 medium red onion, thinly sliced

1/4 cup (60mL) low sodium beef broth
-
1 Tbsp. (15mL) Worcestershire sauce
- Directions

1. Add Mrs. Dash® Garlic and Herb, red wine vinegar, and olive oil to a sealable plastic bag.

2. Place steak in bag, seal, turn several times and refrigerate overnight, or at least 4 hours.

3. When ready to cook, preheat broiler.

4. Toast bread under broiler until lightly browned.

5. Remove and arrange on plates.

6. Place marinated steak on grill pan, and grill for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, do not overcook.

7. Meanwhile, combine onion, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce in small saucepan, simmering until onions are soft, about 10 minutes.

8. Remove steak from oven, let sit a few minutes and slice across the grain as thin as possible.

9. Divide sliced steak evenly over the toasted bread, top with onions and serve immediately.
