Crunchy Snow Peas with Almonds

Ingredients
  • 1 Tbsp. Mrs. Dash® Onion & Herb Seasoning Blend
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 lb. snow peas, trimmed
  • 4 tsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 4 tsp. minced shallots
  • 2 Tbsp. slivered unsalted toasted almonds
Directions
  • 1. Warm the olive oil in a small sauté pan.
  • 2. Turn the heat to medium and add the snow peas. Toss quickly and add a few drops of water. Toss again. Cook about 3-4 minutes, leaving the snow peas crisp.
  • 3. Add the lemon juice and toss again.
  • 4. Spoon on to a serving plate, sprinkle with the fresh shallots, the almonds and Mrs. Dash® Onion & Herb Seasoning Blend. Add a Tbsp. of the cooking juices, spooned over the pea pods.
