2 Tbsp. (30mL) Mrs. Dash® Extra Spicy Seasoning Blend

2 tsp. (10mL) Mrs. Dash® Lemon Pepper Seasoning Blend

1/4 cup (60mL) butter
-
3/4 cup (180mL) light brown sugar
-
1/4 cup (60mL) water
-
4 cups (960mL) raw pecan halves
-
Vegetable oil cooking spray
- Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

2. Spray two large baking sheets with cooking spray.

3. Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add brown sugar, water, Mrs. Dash® Extra Spicy Seasoning Blend and Mrs. Dash® Lemon Pepper Seasoning Blend; stir until sugar dissolves.

4. Add nuts to sugar mixture and cook until syrup thickly coats nuts. Stir often, approximately 5 minutes.

5. Transfer nuts to prepared baking sheets. Place in oven and bake for 10 minutes, being careful not to burn.

6. Remove sheets from oven, cool completely.

7. Store nuts in airtight tins at room temperature.

Just made these nuts today. So easy. I did add a little cayenne. I make other spice nuts basicly the same way and add curry powder to taste.
