Asian Appetizer Meatballs Recipe
Meatballs are the perfect snacking food for your next soiree, and this Asian-inspired version made with Mrs. Dash® Original Blend, water chestnuts, ginger and a touch of sherry is not only mouthwatering, but low in sodium and MSG.
Ingredients:
- 4 tsp (20mL) Mrs. Dash® Original Blend
- 1 lb (454g) lean ground beef
- 8 Oz. (225g) can water chestnuts
- 1/4 cup (60mL) egg substitute or 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup (60mL) dry sherry
- 1/3 cup (80mL) chopped onion
- 1 tsp (5mL) ground ginger
- *Hot N'Spicy Dipping Sauce

Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Drain and finely chop water chestnuts, finely chop green onion.
- Combine ground beef, water chestnuts, egg substitute or egg, sherry, green onion, Mrs. Dash® Original Blend, and ginger in large bowl; mix well.
- Shape into 32 meatballs, about 1 inch (1.5cm) in diameter.
- Place meatballs on rack in broiler pan.
- Bake meatballs 15 to 20 minutes.
- Prepare dipping sauce as directed in related recipe (see link below).
- Serve meatballs with Hot N'Spicy Dipping Sauce.

These were so good I would make them on purpose for anyone anytime, even without a low salt need.
