Crumb-Topped Vegetables Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp. (30mL) Mrs. Dash® Original Blend
- 1/2 lb (225g) small cauliflower flowerets
- 1/2 lb (225g) small broccoli flowerets
- 1 small zucchini, sliced
- 3 Tbsp. (45mL) unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup (60mL) chopped onion
- 2 cups (480mL) soft breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp (2.5mL) dry mustard
- 2 Tbsp. (30mL) finely snipped parsley
- 2 Tbsp. (30mL) lemon juice
Directions:
- Steam or microwave vegetables until tender.
- Sprinkle vegetables with Mrs. Dash® Original Blend.
- Melt butter in skillet and add onion. Cook until tender.
- Stir in breadcrumbs and mustard.
- Heat and stir until crumbs are lightly browned.
- Stir in parsley and lemon juice.
- Place vegetables in oblong dish.
- Top with crumb mixture.
