Brussel Sprout Leaves with Pancetta
Ingredients:
- 1 lb (454g) brussel sprouts
- 1 Tbsp. (15mL) olive oil
- 1 medium onion
- 2 Oz. (56g) pancetta
- 1/2 cup (120mL) low sodium chicken stock
- 1 Tbsp. (15mL) Mrs. Dash® Lemon Pepper Seasoning Blend
Directions:
- Cut stems on brussel sprouts and separate into leaves, thinly slice the centers.
- Dice onion and pancetta.
- Add olive oil to large skillet and heat to medium high, add onion and pancetta and cook until onion is softened and pancetta starts to crisp.
- Add sprout leaves, Mrs. Dash® Lemon Pepper, and chicken stock, cover.
- Cook over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until leaves are tender.
- Serve hot.
