Veggie Pizza Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 Tbsp. (15mL) olive oil
- 1 cup (240mL) sliced fresh mushrooms
- 4 tsp. (20mL) Mrs. Dash® Garlic and Herb Seasoning Blend
- 1 small zucchini, sliced
- 1 small red pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 12 inch (30cm) pizza crust
- 1 cup (240mL) mozzarella cheese, grated, divided
- 2 tsp (10ml) Mrs. Dash® Tomato Basil Garlic Seasoning Blend
- 3 plum tomatoes, thinly sliced
Directions:
- In a large skillet, add 1 tsp. (5mL) olive oil to skillet, add mushrooms and saute 3 to 4 minutes or until cooked.
- Season with 2 tsp Mrs. Dash® Garlic and Herb, remove mushrooms from pan, drain if necessary. Set aside.
- Add remaining olive oil to pan and saute zucchini, peppers and 2 tsp Mrs. Dash® Garlic and Herb until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 450°F (220°C).
- Assemble pizza by brushing the crust with a little olive oil, sprinkle with half the zucchini mixture, cheese and 2 tsp Mrs. Dash® Tomato Basil Garlic Seasoning Blend.
- Add half the tomatoes, top with remaining vegetables, remaining tomatoes, and cheese.
- Bake for 12 - 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the crust is crispy.
