Cowboy Steak Recipe
Enhance the flavor of a simple steak and turn it into something special with the robust flavor of Mrs. Dash® Steak Grilling Blend. Brush both sides of the steak with olive oil to add a mild taste and keep the steaks from sticking to the grill. Then add the full flavor of Mrs. Dash® Steak Grilling Blend, grill and enjoy.
Ingredients:
- 6 Tbsp. (90mL) Mrs. Dash® Steak Grilling Blend
- 1 lb (454g) rib eye, New York or sirloin steaks, cut 1 inch (2.5cm) thick
- 1 Tbsp. (15mL) olive oil
- 2 French baguettes, sliced into 1/4 inch (.6cm) thick slices
Directions:
- Pat steaks dry with a paper towel.
- Brush steaks on both sides with olive oil.
- Sprinkle steaks generously on both sides with Mrs. Dash® Steak Grilling Blend.
- Grill over direct heat, with grill lid on, for 6 minutes.
- Turn and grill for approximately 4 minutes, or until desired degree of doneness.
- Remove steaks from grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
- As your dinner guests congregate around the cutting board, slice steaks into strips and serve on baguette slices.

This recipe was awesome. Very simple to make and the whole family just loved it! Will definitely make this again.
