Week Day Meat Loaf

Ingredients:
  • 1 slice white bread
  • 1 lb. (500g) ground turkey thigh
  • 1/2 lb. (250g) ground turkey breast
  • 1/3 cup (75mL) chopped onions
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. (15mL) Mrs. Dash® Onion & Herb Seasoning Blend
  • 1-1/2 Tbsp. (22.5mL) Mrs. Dash® Classic Italiano Seasoning Blend
  • 1/2 tsp (2mL) paprika
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF (180ºC).
  2. Place bread slice in blender or food processor; process until bread slice is finely crumbled.
  3. In mixing bowl, combine turkey and soft bread crumbs; mix well.
  4. Blend in egg, Mrs. Dash® Seasoning Blends, and paprika; mix well.
  5. Spray 9x5" loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray; sprinkle pan with Mrs. Dash® Italian Seasoning blend.
  6. Place turkey mixture in pan or pat into loaf shape and place in baking dish.
  7. Bake at 350ºF (190ºC), 45 to 50 minutes or until mixture registers internal temperature of 170º to 180ºF (80º to 90ºC).
  8. Let stand 5 minutes, before serving.
