Lemon Herb Peppercorn 10-minute Marinade

Fresh or frozen, tender asparagus is a delicious rite of spring. Pair with simmered and cooled carrots, then drizzle Mrs. Dash® Lemon Herb Peppercorn 10-Minute Marinade for a simple dressing that’s brimming with taste.
Ingredients:
  • 4 Tbsp. (60mL) Mrs. Dash® Lemon Herb Peppercorn 10-Minute Marinade
  • 1 lb. (454g) asparagus, washed and trimmed
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and julienne sliced
  • 2 tsp. (10mL) chopped parsley
Directions:
  1. Cook asparagus in simmering water until crisp-tender (about 5 minutes). Remove asparagus from simmering water. Rinse with cool water and drain.
  2. Add carrots to simmering water and cook until tender (about 3 minutes). Remove from water and drain.
  3. Drizzle Mrs. Dash® Lemon Herb Peppercorn 10-Minute Marinade over cooled asparagus and carrots.
  4. Top with parsley, and serve.
