Pot Roast Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 12 oz bottle (336mL) Mrs. Dash® Mesquite Grille Marinade
- 3 lbs.(1.3Kg) chuck roast, boneless, trimmed of all visible fat
- 2 Tbsp. (30mL) flour
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup (120mL) water
- 8 red potatoes, quartered
- 8 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
Directions:
- Rub roast with flour and brown on all sides in a large Dutch oven, taking care not to burn.
- Add Mrs. Dash® Mesquite Grille Marinade, onion and water. Cover tightly and simmer for 3 1/2 hours or until meat is fork tender. Add potatoes and carrots during last 40 minutes of cooking.
- Remove meat from pot, carve into slices and serve with vegetables and sauce.
