Southwestern Chipotle 10-minute Marinade

A new twist on an old favorite is sure to be a hit on the buffet table at the family get-togethers. The sassy-spicy sauce of Mrs. Dash® Southwest Chipotle Marinade stands up to the crunch of summer green beans and peppers in this exceptional salad.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup (120mL) Mrs. Dash® Southwestern Chipotle Marinade
  • 1/2 lb (225g) green beans, cleaned, cut into thirds, blanched and drained
  • 1 cup (240mL) celery, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup (120mL) red pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup (120mL) yellow bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup (60mL) apple cider vinegar
Directions:
  1. Combine blanched green beans, celery , red pepper and yellow pepper in large bowl.
  2. Combine Mrs. Dash® Southwestern Chipotle Marinade and vinegar in small bowl, mix well.
  3. Pour dressing over bean mixture, stir gently. Let marinate in the refrigerator for 3 hours before serving.

This is a variation of my 3 bean salad that I make and I found this to be almost as good as mine. I will try this again.
