Greek Wraps Recipe
Use the top sirloin cut in this light summer supper, which usually costs less. Marinate the steak in Mrs. Dash® Lemon Herb Peppercorn Marinade, grill and let stand for 10 minutes before slicing. Drizzle the dressing over the steak and veggies, top with crumbled feta cheese and enjoy the big fat Greek goodness.
Ingredients:
- 12 oz (336g) extra lean boneless sirloin steak, all visible fat discarded
- 1 cup (240mL) Mrs. Dash® Lemon Herb Peppercorn 10-Minute Marinade
- 4 6” (15cm) whole-wheat tortillas
- 2 cups (480mL) lettuce, shredded
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- Dressing
- 2 Tbsp (30mL) Mrs. Dash® Lemon Herb Peppercorn 10-Minute Marinade
- 2 tsp (10mL) cider vinegar
Directions:
- Place steak in glass dish; pour marinade over steak and turn to make sure the steak is completely coated. Let marinate 10 minutes.
- Heat grill to medium high, place steak on grill and cook 4 to 5 minutes per side for medium rare 145°F (63°C)), 6 to 7 minutes per side for medium 160°F (70°C), or 8 to 10 minutes for medium well to well 170°F (75°C). Remove from grill and let stand 10 minutes. Cut steak in thin strips.
- Mix 2 Tbsp Mrs. Dash® Lemon Herb Peppercorn 10-Minute Marinade and cider vinegar to make dressing, toss with lettuce and tomatoes.
- Place 1/2 cup (120mL) salad mixture on each tortilla, top each with 1/4 of the beef slices and garnish with crumbled feta and roll up.
