Party Sandwiches Recipe
Who could resist these tasty mini-sandwiches with roasted red peppers and cream cheese, and the bold flavor of Mrs. Dash® Zesty Garlic Herb 10-Minute Marinade. With just a few ingredients, they're easy to make and easy to take.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup (60mL) Mrs. Dash® Zesty Garlic Herb 10-Minute Marinade
- 3 Tbsp. (45mL) Mrs. Dash® Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend
- 8 oz (226g) reduced-fat cream cheese, softened
- 30 pieces small party size pumpernickel bread
- 5 roasted red pepper strips (jarred in water), cut in half
- 1 large cucumber, thinly sliced
Directions:
- Combine Mrs. Dash® Zesty Garlic Herb 10-Minute Marinade, Mrs. Dash® Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend and cream cheese in a small bowl. Mix well. Refrigerate mixture at least 15 minutes before using.
- Spread 1/2 tsp (2.5mL) cream cheese mixture on each slice of bread.
- Layer in order: bread (cream cheese face up), roasted red pepper, bread, 2 cucumber slices, and bread (cream cheese side down), to form a layered sandwich. Secure sandwich with a frilled toothpick.
