Peel turnips and cut into 1 inch chunks. Place them in a saucepan with water and 1 tsp. of salt. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until turnip is tender. In a separate saucepan, heat milk and melt butter together until milk starts to simmer. Drain turnips and mash (this can be done in a food processor), add milk and butter slowly. The turnips should be very smooth. Season with Mrs. Dash® Lemon Pepper. Place in a casserole dish, when ready to serve sprinkle generously with onion rings and reheat.
