Cowboy Steak

Enhance the flavor of a simple steak and turn it into something special with the robust flavor of Steak Grilling Blend. Brush both sides of the steak with olive oil to keep the steaks from sticking to the grill, then add Steak Grilling Blend, grill and enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 French baguettes, sliced into 1/4-inch-thick slices
  • 6 tbsp. Steak Grilling Blend
  • 1 lb. rib-eye, New York or sirloin steak, 1-inch thick

Directions

  1. Pat steaks dry with a paper towel.
  2. Brush steaks on both sides with olive oil.
  3. Sprinkle steaks generously on both sides with Steak Grilling Blend.
  4. Grill over direct heat, with grill lid on, for 6 minutes.
  5. Turn and grill for approximately 4 minutes, or until desired degree of doneness.
  6. Remove steaks from grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
  7. As your dinner guests congregate around the cutting board, slice steaks into strips and serve on baguette slices.
