Extra Spicy Rice

Extra Spicy Seasoning Blend lends flavor while onion adds texture to long-grain rice for a low-sodium side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. Extra Spicy Seasoning Blend
  • 1 tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 23 c. low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 13 c. uncooked long-grain rice

Directions

  1. Add chopped onion to uncooked long grain rice.
  2. Add low-sodium chicken broth.
  3. Stir in Extra Spicy Seasoning Blend.
  4. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes until rice is tender.
  5. Stir in butter and chopped parsley, serve.
