Garlic Lime Flank Steak With Mushrooms & Peppers

It only takes a pound of lean flank steak, fresh veggies and a cup of Mrs. Dash® Lime Garlic Marinade to make a complete meal on the grill in under 30 minutes. The protein-packed beef is paired with colorful summer vegetables for a nutritious and delicious meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium red peppers, seeded and halved
  • 4 medium portobello mushroom caps, halved
  • 1 ½ c. Lime Garlic Marinade
  • 1 lb. beef flank steak

Directions

  1. Marinate steak in 1/2 cup of the Lime Garlic Marinade for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Separately, marinate vegetables in 1/2 cup of Lime Garlic Marinade for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove steak from marinade, discarding marinade.
  5. Remove vegetables from marinade, discarding marinade.
  6. Grill steak 7 to 8 minutes per side or until cooked through, brushing frequently with remaining marinade.
  7. Grill mushrooms and peppers 4 to 5 minutes per side or until tender.
  8. When steak reaches desired degree of doneness, remove from grill and let rest 2 to 3 minutes.
  9. Slice thinly across grain.
  10. Serve each portion of steak with two pieces of mushroom and two pieces of red pepper.
