Lemon Herb Asparagus Medley

Fresh or frozen, tender asparagus is a delicious rite of spring. Pair with simmered and cooled carrots, then drizzle Dash™ Lemon Pepper Marinade for a simple dressing that's brimming with taste.

  • Yield: 2 Servings


  • 2 tsp. chopped parsley
  • 4 tbsp. Lemon Pepper Marinade
  • 1 lb. washed and trimmed asparagus
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and julienne sliced


  1. Cook asparagus in simmering water until crisp-tender (about 5 minutes).
  2. Remove asparagus from simmering water.
  3. Rinse with cool water and drain.
  4. Add carrots to simmering water and cook until tender (about 3 minutes).
  5. Remove from water and drain.
  6. Drizzle Lemon Pepper Marinade over cooled asparagus and carrots.
  7. Top with parsley and serve.
