Spaghetti With Meat Sauce

Ground beef, diced tomatoes, chopped celery and Mrs. Dash® make a thick and hearty Italian sauce. Serve over whole-grain spaghetti to create a filling feast for the entire family.

  1. Boil water in 4-quart pan.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons Italian Medley Seasoning Blend to water.
  3. Add spaghetti to water.
  4. Cook spaghetti 10 to 12 minutes or as indicated on package.
  5. Drain; set aside.
  6. Cook ground beef over medium heat in 4-quart Dutch oven until brown.
  7. Drain, reserving 1 tablespoon drippings.
  8. Set ground beef aside.
  9. Return reserved drippings to pan.
  10. Chop onion, celery, green pepper.
  11. Add to pan with drippings.
  12. Add Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend and Extra Spicy Seasoning Blend to pan with vegetables, mix until blended.
  13. Cook 5 to 7 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  14. Add combined tomato sauce, tomatoes and 1/2 cup water to hot pan.
  15. Continue cooking until mixture boils; reduce heat.
  16. Add reserved ground beef and remaining Italian Medley Seasoning Blend.
  17. Cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  18. Spoon meat sauce over prepared spaghetti for each serving.
