Let your taste buds take a trip with the robust and romantic flavors of sautéed onion, succulent shrimp and Extra Spicy Seasoning Blend. Serve this combination over rice with fresh lemon slices for a satisfyingly savory meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp. Extra Spicy Seasoning Blend
  • 1 lb. large shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 3 chopped large tomatoes
  • ½ c. thinly sliced red onion
  • 1 tbsp. Original Blend
  • ½ c. thinly sliced Spanish onion

Directions

  1. Dry shrimp with paper towel and sprinkle with Original Blend.
  2. Add butter to large skillet and heat to bubbling; add garlic and shrimp and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes or until shrimp are opaque.
  3. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add cooking oil and sauté onions until tender.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes and season with Extra Spicy Seasoning Blend to taste.
  6. Cook over moderate heat, stirring occasionally, 3 to 5 minutes.
  7. Add shrimp and heat for 1 minute.
  8. Serve over rice; garnish with fresh lemon slices.
