Super Sloppy Joes With Bell Peppers and Corn

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • ½ c. frozen corn
  • 2 tbsp. ketchup
  • 28 oz. can pureed or crushed tomatoes
  • 1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp. Onion & Herb Seasoning Blend 
  • 1 chopped white onion

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add onion, bell pepper and garlic and sauté 3 minutes, until soft.
  3. Add ground beef and cook 5 minutes, until beef is cooked through, breaking up the meat as it cooks.
  4. Add Onion & Herb Seasoning Blend and stir to coat.
  5. Add tomatoes, ketchup and mustard and bring to a simmer.
  6. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 10 minutes.
  7. Add corn and cook 1 to 2 minutes to heat through.
  8. Spoon mixture onto rolls and serve.
